After any injury of musculoskeletal problem caused by an athletic occupational, or personal injury, the goal is to restore your previous level of function. Our therapy programs generally consist of three categories.
Many forms of pain, from sever headaches to joint pain, have a muscular or orthopedic origin. In many cases, rest and immobility is not enough. A therapy program designed to correct the underlying cuase of the problem is necessary.
The key is to understand how the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems interact and affect each other.
We will perform a comprehensive evaluation and determine an appropriate treatment plan. Your treatments will consist of manual therapy and specific exercises to restore function. Our belief is not to stick you on a weight machine which develops only isolated muscle, we use low impact muscle toning and range of motion exercise to insure that full functionality is achieved with minimum stress and discomfort. We will progress your program specifically for the activity which you want to perform, and also go a step further and increase your program to prevent future injuries.
Whether you are an athlete or an office worker, the best time to prevent pain and injury is beforehand. We will assess the risks you face (at work, during sports, or daily life) and develop a therapy program to both prevent injury and enhance your performance.
Athletes, in particular, need to understand the functional process involved in their sport. In addition to preventing injury or multi-faced therapy help the athlete to maximize his or her potential.
Our name says it all. We strive to do more than get you back on your feet, back on the field, or back to work. Our objective is to restore and enhance your body’s functionality so that you can live the life you want to live.
We do that by understanding how the various parts of your body, such as your muscles, your bones, and your nervous system work together. This allows us to develop innovative, personalized therapy programs that recognize this interaction and seek to maximize collective system performance.
